31st Annual Research Trip: Allen County Public Library Ft. Wayne, Indiana

You are invited to join members and friends of DSGR and our trip partners from the Western Wayne County Genealogical Society for a full day of research at the 2nd largest genealogical research library in the U.S.:
Depart: Lawrence Technological University (LTU) parking lot C 6:15 am
Depart: Livonia Senior Center (15218 Farmington Rd. @ 5 Mile Rd) 7:00 am
Depart: Chelsea Park & Ride at Exit 159 off I-94 7:45 am
Rest stop (1st one in Indiana) ~8:30 am
Arrive: Allen County Pub Library, Ft Wayne IN 10:00-10:15 am
Research time ~10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Depart: Ft Wayne 6:15 pm
Rest stop (MI west of Jackson) ~8:15 pm
Arrive back at Chelsea Park & Ride at Exit 159 off I-94 8:45 pm
Arrive back at Livonia Senior Center 9:30 pm
Arrive back at Southfield (LTU) 10:00 pm
Cost is $40.00 and is open to all; boxed meals $12.00 (optional)
This covers transportation on a full facility (National Trails) bus. We will have donuts and bottled water available during the morning ride to Ft Wayne. There are vending machines with pop and snacks at rest stops, and the ACPL has a concession area available for lunch (restaurants are also nearby). For the return trip, optional boxed meals can be purchased. Reservations limited to the first 55 people - so don’t delay, reserve early.
