SUMMARY:No Genealogist Left Behind: Considerations in Adult Educationwith Kelli Jo Bergheimer
DESCRIPTION:Adults are a diverse group of differing ages\, experiences\, working status\, and more. Adults learn best with a variety of methodologies and approaches. Teaching adults is both rewarding and challenging. As teachers and lecturers\, we are more effective if we recognize some of the strengths and weaknesses of adult learners—always mindful that adults are neither homogenous nor one-dimensional. \nThis is the kick-off for our annual Fall Family History Event. Please note this will be and in-person event as well as virtual. It is also being held on a Friday. \n
