Our Michigan Genealogical Council (MGC) Newsletter Editor, Paul Roltsch, is retiring after this (Fall 2023) issue. Paul has served as editor since the Fall 2020 issue. His service coincided with one of the most challenging periods in MGC history, the pandemic and lockdown that came with it.
Paul plans to spend time with his family and is involved with several other family history societies. At this stage, he would like to focus on his Germanic heritage. He will remain president of the Michigan Germanic Genealogical Society and in various roles in local groups near his home.
The full MGC Board of Directors thanks Paul for serving the Michigan Genealogical community. Paul, we wish you good health and many more years of successful genealogy research.
MGC is seeking a new editor for the MGC Newsletter. Please get in touch with President Judy Nimer Muhn (judynmuhn@gmail.com or info@mimgc.org) for specifics if this position interests you.
Prost!
