Adults are a diverse group of differing ages, experiences, working status, and more. Adults learn best with a variety of methodologies and approaches. Teaching adults is both rewarding and challenging. As teachers and lecturers, we are more effective if we recognize some of the strengths and weaknesses of adult learners—always mindful that adults are neither homogenous nor one-dimensional.
